Thumpertown Beach in Eastham, MA on Cape Cod. Has very steep stairs down to the beach. It is not very wide - not much sand but a great sight at lowtide..Tiny waves - fairly calm. Boats. No attendant. Small parking lot. Private beaches around. Limited disabled access. Surrounded by private residences, Thumpertown Beach can get easily crowded. Whether or not you manage to stake out a spot on the sand, there is plenty of ocean in which to bounce about.
