Description
Rock Harbor in Orleans is one of the most popular sites on Cape Cod. Rock Harbor at sunset is something you have to see because of the the trees which are placed in the clam flats each summer to be used as channel markers for the entrance to the harbor, plus the jetty and marsh grass which provides a spectacular foreground for the sunset. At high tide, the water comes up to the signs on each tree. In the winter the ice knocks the trees down. At low tide you can walk out for perhaps a mile.

Wow what a large beach exposed by the very low tide. This must be a marvelous place to visit, walk on the sand and take pictures - well done!
