Description
Iceland is a country of breathtaking beauty as exemplified by this shot. As I was driving along "The Ring Road" (Route One) when I saw something beautiful and there was a place to pull of the road I did. If could identify the spot I do. Otherwise, I am just calling them Iceland Landscapes.
This particular shot allowed me to get a bunch of Whooper Swans against a scenic backdrop. We had been seeing the Whooper Swans all over Iceland as we drove but the right shot just never presented it self until this opportunity. The Whooper Swan is the largest bird in Iceland and the only swan species on Iceland.
