Description
Barnes Hall, a Romanesque building constructed in 1887, is home to the primary performance space for Cornell's Music Department. Chamber music concerts, recitals and small ensemble performances all take place in the hall that can seat roughly 280.
The building is also home to Cornell University's main career library, and the space is frequented by students researching medical and law schools or looking for test prep materials for graduate school admissions.
